Polyurethane Reactive adhesive, or PUR for short, is the glue we use in our perfect binding machine. Commonly known as PUR binding, PUR creates a super-strong bind that locks in the pages of your books, brochures and catalogues so that they don’t fall out.
PUR is very popular with our self-publishing and business communities because it enables us to create a strong bind with as few as 3 sheets and up to 500 sheets in one pass.
NB PUR binding is quick, easy and strong, but if you’re looking for a more premium bind to your book, we recommend enquiring about our section-sewing solution because the pages open wider and flatter.
